Our client, a global leader in consumer products, is seeking a Principal Regulatory Affairs Specialist to lead U.S. regulatory strategy and compliance for their Laundry and Dish product categories.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead regulatory affairs activities, including product labeling, compliance reviews, packaging regulations, SDS and ingredient statement generation
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Legal, Product Development, and QA to ensure products meet regulatory requirements throughout development and commercialization
Respond to regulatory agency inspections, recalls, and product reviews in collaboration with QA and Manufacturing
Develop and implement regulatory processes and best practices to ensure continued compliance
Stay current with evolving federal and state regulations, and communicate business impact across internal teams
Contribute to the development of safer, more sustainable products through monitoring of toxicology advancements
Manage consumer regulatory inquiries and customer documentation requests
Effectively prioritize tasks and present regulatory insights to various levels of leadership
Qualifications :
10+ years of regulatory affairs experience, preferably within consumer products or CPG
Bachelors or advanced degree in a science-related field, regulatory science, public health, business administration, or law
Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory frameworks, with the ability to translate technical requirements for cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated success managing cross-departmental projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); SAP experience preferred
Strong collaboration and organizational skills; must be an adaptable team player
