Data Center Engineer

A company is looking for a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer II to join their team remotely in the Seattle, WA area or a similar time zone. Key Responsibilities Design and create layouts of data center infrastructure, including facilities structure, cabinets, and networking equipment Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure scalability and efficiency of the data center environment Monitor and optimize performance of data center infrastructure components to meet service level agreements (SLAs) Required Qualifications Strong knowledge of data center architecture and design requirements for network, compute, and storage racks Proven experience in a colocation or telecommunications facilities engineer role in a large-scale data center Solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices in data centers Strong understanding of public cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for designing data center layouts
