BJC Medical Group is seeking a BC / BE GI Physician to join our established team based at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL , just 15 minutes from St. Louis, Missouri.

Practice Overview :

• Beautiful and spacious clinic on the campus of Alton Memorial Hospital s Digestive Health Center
• 4 endoscopy suites at Alton Memorial Hospital with room to staff and run a fifth room, volume permitting
• Employed position with ample support and mentorship available
• APP support in the clinic and with inpatient rounding
• Typically 3.5 days in the lab and 1 day of clinic per week
• Ability to be busy right away as group is scheduled out 6 months
• Ability to do advanced GI, ERCP and EUS

Role Purpose

The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physician s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
