The Sr. Full Stack Engineer is a technical leader responsible for the architecture and implementation of comprehensive software solutions across Pantomath’s Data Operations platform. This role demands deep expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies and includes mentoring junior engineers and owning critical systems or features. Ideal for engineers who thrive in high-impact roles and want to help shape product and technical direction.

As we scale, the ability to embrace modern developer tools — including AI-assisted coding, testing, and documentation — will be key to maintaining velocity and innovation. Candidates should be curious and proactive about using AI to augment their work and elevate team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications and services.
Lead engineering efforts on key features and infrastructure improvements.
Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.
Participate in and lead design reviews, code reviews, and planning sessions.
Champion best practices in software engineering and DevOps.
Identify and address system bottlenecks and scalability concerns.
Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to improve team productivity and software quality.
Contribute to the documentation of software designs, architecture, and processes.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

8+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, with demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience

Skills and Competencies

Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.).

Strong understanding of backend frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS) and database design (SQL / NoSQL).

Experience with CI / CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP).

Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and deliver complex projects.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching other engineers.

Willingness to explore and use AI tools (e.g., AI pair programming, test generation, LLM-driven automation) to improve development speed, quality, and team effectiveness.
