Civil EIT

RESPEC an internationally recognized engineering consulting company seeks a Civil EIT (Engineer in Training) to join our Anchorage AK office.

The Civil EIT provides civil & geotechnical engineering support for engineering design activities for infrastructure projects throughout Alaska and the Lower 48. Projects include buildings utilities roads airports and marine structures. Under the supervision of a professional engineer the Civil EIT leads geotechnical field explorations performs geotechnical analyses / calculations and prepares geotechnical reports to support the design team on a wide variety of projects. Work includes collaborating on a multi-discipline team of engineers and may also help with other disciplines such as civil structural and hydrology / hydraulics. This position will require some travel for field work to remote locations across Alaska.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design using AutoCAD 3D
• Prepare design calculations
• Develop quantities and prepare engineers estimate
• Evaluate design options
