Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for a local contract job in Reno, Nevada.

Role :   Perinatal Sonographer

Shift :   M-TH, 8 : 00am - 4 : 00PM; Friday, 8 : 00am - 12 : 00pm

Weekend Hours : , No weekends, or on Call. Occasional OT on scheduled shifts.

Licenses :   ARDMS or RV. NRP not required, but is a plus.

Required Certifications :   BLS. Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification is not required, but a PLUS!

Experience Required :   2 years experience required. Experience with Clinic / Inpatient scans is required.

Additional Information :

The Perinatal Sonographer participates in the care of the patient, under the direct supervision of the Physician and in collaboration with the healthcare team by performing and reporting results of sonographic examinations. Responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, equipment performance, and clinical sonographic quality assessment. Assumes responsibility and is accountable for adherence to WC policies and procedures, as well as all applicable federal and state laws as they pertain to healthcare and employment.
