Store Manager

Summary

To assist the Store Management in ensuring and maintaining genuine customer care, accountable for the operation of the store insuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Drives store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly
  • Assist in managing total store operating
  • Assure front end is providing customers with quick friendly service
  • Build and fill displays
  • Assist in keeping backroom neat and up to best practices standards
  • Assist in handling all associate issues
  • Assist in handling customer issues
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed by all Associates
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manages 3-4 Associates in the store
  • Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of the store and Associates
  • Follows NFI policies and applicable federal, state and local laws
  • Assign and direct work
  • Address complaints and resolves problems

    • Education and / or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Possess product knowledge of hardware related products

    • Language Skills

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Write routine reports and correspondence
  • Present information and respond to questions from customers or associates

    • Mathematical Skills

  • Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)

    • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • This position has no required certifications, licenses, or registrations
