Job Overview

Peters Nissan of Nashua is seeking a friendly and organized Parts Counter Person to join our Parts Department team.

We are a family-owned and operated dealership proudly serving the community for 70 years, offering a supportive, customer-focused work environment.

In this role, you will assist both customers and service technicians with their automotive parts needs, manage inventory, and ensure smooth daily operations at the parts counter.

This is a full-time position (40 hours / week) that requires weekend availability (Saturdays) and offers the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team in a dealership known for its longevity and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Parts Ordering & Billing : Order, receive, and bill out parts for customer and internal requests, ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions .
• Inventory Management : Maintain proper storage of incoming parts and stock shelves in an organized manner.

Perform regular bin counts and record-keeping to manage inventory levels effectively .

This includes answering phone inquiries and providing price quotes or parts availability information .

Qualifications & Skills

A friendly, professional demeanor is essential in this customer-facing role.

Knowledge of automotive parts or mechanics is a plus (aftermarket parts experience also a plus) , but not required.

We are willing to train the right candidate who shows the ability to learn.

Must be comfortable using parts catalog software and point-of-sale systems to look up parts and process orders .

Our Parts Department is open Monday–Saturday (closed Sundays), so a flexible schedule is important.
