Accounts Payable Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee and optimize the accounts payable operations within our organization. This role is based in Richardson, Texas, and requires a meticulous individual with strong leadership skills and proficiency in accounting systems. Responsibilities :

• Supervise the accounts payable team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
• Review and approve invoice coding for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments to ensure timely disbursement.
• Monitor and ensure timely processing of invoices within accounting systems such as D365.
• Prepare and analyze reports using tools like pivot tables and VLOOKUP to identify discrepancies or trends.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice and payment-related issues.
• Develop and implement improvements to streamline accounts payable workflows.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards in all payables activities.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their performance and growth. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable management or supervision.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including D365, and advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including coding invoices and managing check runs.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment systems.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed financial reports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across departments.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
