Clinical Dietitian Specialist

Upstate Medical Hospital is the largest employer of Dietitians in the Syracuse area. We're seeking passionate Clinical Dietitian Specialists to join our progressive, evidence-based nutrition care team at Upstate University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities :

Specialty Areas Include : Bariatrics, renal, cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, transplant, oncology, pediatrics, critical / intensive care : adult and pediatric unitsand outpatient services.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree required. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required. NYS Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist license (or eligible) required. Three or more years of post RD certification experience in clinical dietetics. Specialty certification or advanced specializedmembership required within 3 years of hire.

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's degree with preferred area of Nutrition or related field. Two (2) years or more of experience with Inpatient Critical Care or two (2) years or more of experience with Outpatient Counseling with experience in billing. Board certification as a Nutrition Support Clinician or other certifications in Pediatrics or Adult Nutrition : Board Certification as a Specialty in Pediatric Nutrition, Weight Management and Obesity, Oncology Nutrition, Renal Nutrition or board certification in Advanced Diabetes Management.

Work Days :

Monday-Friday, days with weekends and holidays
