Responsibilities
- Enter, process, and handle the lifecycle of customer orders in our order management system.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve credit issues efficiently.
- Act as a Material Strider, applying lean principles to handle the flow of materials within the organization.
- Follow Standard Work and resupply paths, ensuring no bending, stretching, twisting, or lifting. Ensure ergonomic safety practices are followed.
- Use the Long Lead Time Parts Kanban Board to easily find the card when the parts arrive.
- Participate in weekly reviews of Kanban Audits, discussing actual and design numbers and addressing top 10 actual vs. design gaps.
- Apply tools like value stream mapping and Kaizen techniques to continually improve processes and eliminate waste.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve understanding and implementation of the Fortive Business System (FBS) tools and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma, or equivalent; a degree in business, supply chain, operations management, or related field is preferred.Experience in an order processing, materials handling, or similar role.Strong understanding of lean principles and methodologies; experience with Fortive Business System (FBS) or similar operational systems is highly desirable.Excellent organizational, communication, and social skills.Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt changes quickly.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with order management software.We strive for continuous improvement, relying on the power of the Fortive Business System, to guide our work and deliver results.
