Maintenance Technician

Staffmark is looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician with HVAC Certification to join our team at a residential apartment community. This role is essential to ensuring the proper upkeep and functionality of apartment units, building systems, and common areas.

Schedule : Monday – Friday | 1st Shift Only

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance duties, including HVAC troubleshooting and repair, electrical and plumbing work, carpentry, and appliance servicing. You'll also assist with unit make-readies, respond to service requests, and help maintain the safety and cleanliness of the property. This role requires participation in an on-call weekend rotation for emergency maintenance needs.

Responsibilities :

• Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation
• Complete work orders related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Prepare vacant units for move-in (make-ready process)
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of common areas and property grounds
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and inventory used
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and building codes
