The Role :

We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join M13’s investment team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate is both technically fluent and deeply curious about early‑stage startups. You will leverage your technical expertise, product instincts, and network in the Bay Area to help M13 identify, evaluate, and support the next generation of founders.

What you’ll be doing :

• Conducting deep dives and research into emerging technologies, products, and AI applications.
• Evaluating early‑stage companies through product, technical, and financial analysis.
• Building cap tables, underwriting scenarios, and writing investment memos.
• Attending and representing M13 at demo days, founder events, and hacker houses across the Bay Area.
• Building and maintaining relationships with technical founders, operators, and other ecosystem partners.
• Assisting with internal product and systems builds to support M13’s investment practice, including AI tools and CRM.
