- Can provide comprehensive support to students, helping them gain the technical knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in the welding program and their future careers.
- Can foster a welcoming and productive atmosphere in the welding shop, promoting safety, collaboration, and a positive learning experience for students and instructors alike.
- Can work compassionately with a diverse group of students and staff in the welding shop, ensuring an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for all.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Manage the check-out and assignment of welding tools and equipment to students and instructors, ensuring accurate tracking and tool availability.Assist with basic repairs and maintenance of tools and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal functioning in the lab.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding lab by ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and easily accessible.Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or equipment needs to the supervisor to ensure continuous availability of necessary tools.Communicate effectively with students, instructors, and staff to provide exceptional customer service and foster a collaborative environment.Inspect and ensure all tools are in proper working condition, ready for immediate use in welding tasks.Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by keeping the lab organized and adhering to safety protocols at all times.Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued

Currently pursuing a Degree or Certificate in WeldingFamiliarity with a wide range of tools and their functionsAbility to adapt well to fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft OutlookKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
