    • Summary : We're expanding and need Lead Infant Teachers , Lead Toddler Teachers , Lead Two Teachers , Assistant Teachers , and Lead Three Teachers for our Athens, Watkinsville, North Oconee , and Bogart locations. In these roles, you will play a vital part in nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning in our preschool environment. Your contributions will help shape the future of our students and support their growth in a safe and engaging setting.

    Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, social skills, and physical development.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to promote positive interactions among students.
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Foster a love for learning through creative play, hands-on activities, and structured lessons.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Associate's, TCD, TCC, or CDA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting
  • CPR / First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Must meet all state licensing requirements
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and engage physically with children throughout the day

    Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

    Expected hours : 40 per week

  • Direct teaching : 1 year (Required)

    • License / Certification :

  • DECAL-required Lead Teacher credential (Required)
