Technically Proficient : You possess in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, building codes, and client design standards. Software Savvy : You are proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for the creation of electrical drawings. Systems Expertise : You have expert knowledge of lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm systems, power and power distribution systems (including emergency power), and technology systems. A Strong Leader : You are a strong leader with excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Salary Range : $117,000 - $170,000 depending on prior experience.
Electrical Engineer Opportunity
Selectek has partnered with a growing MEP firm in the Plano area to find a talented and driven Electrical Engineer to join their team.
About the Role :
- Design & Engineering : You will be responsible for performing engineering calculations, applying engineering principles, and developing comprehensive electrical designs for a variety of projects.
- Project Management : You will independently manage multiple projects from start to finish, including writing, editing, and producing project specifications.
- Technical Review : You will review and approve shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, addendums, and other construction documents related to electrical systems.
- Field Verification : You will conduct field work, complete field reports, and verify the accuracy of electrical designs on-site.
- Mentorship & Leadership : You will mentor and supervise junior engineers, designers, and EITs in the development of electrical systems.
