Job Summary
with patient set up and other duties specified by therapy staff. 2.Carries out routine operational functions including maintaining treatment and gym areas. 3.Modifies specific treatment procedures in accordance with changes in patient status, within the scope of the established treatment plan. 4.Performs delegated functions consistent with safe and legal physical therapy practice, predicated on the following factors : a. Complexity and acuity of the patients needs b. Proximity and accessibility to the delegating physical therapist; c. Supervision available in the event of emergencies or critical events. 5.Conducts interpersonal relationships in the department on the basis of mutual respect : a. Gives and receives constructive criticism with a positive attitude; b. Collaborates with colleagues in fostering a willingness to become lifelong learners; c. Recognizes and seeks the contributions of the other health team members; d. Positively references other colleagues in written and verbal communications; e. Demonstrates an understanding of and appreciation for the educational preparation and experiential background of other health team members; f. Demonstrates a mutual respect for others roles. 6.Participates in department and clinic staff meetings as requested. 7.Participates in professional development and educational activities. 8.Maintains patient confidentiality.
