About the Role : Are you a Civil or Structural Engineer who’s ready to break free from the desk and dive into real-world challenges? We’re looking for an experienced, curious, and highly motivated engineer to join our team in a dynamic forensic role. This isn't your typical design job — you'll apply your technical expertise to investigate building failures, structural defects, roadway mishaps, worker safety issues, and much more. Each day offers something new. From uncovering what went wrong on a construction site to evaluating code compliance or contributing to legal proceedings — your work will help uncover truths and shape safer outcomes moving forward.

Responsibilities :

  • Travel regionally for site visits and accident investigations.
  • Help clients navigate complex losses, insurance claims, and legal cases using your engineering insight.
  • Enjoy the independence of fieldwork while being backed by a supportive and collaborative team.
  • Expand your expertise with specialized certifications in areas like aerial platforms, foundation systems, and EIFS.

Qualifications :

  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering (Ph.D. a plus)
  • P.E. license preferred
  • 5+ years of Civil or Structural Engineering experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management
  • A self-starter who thrives both independently and on a team
  • Willingness to travel for site investigations (day trips and occasional overnights)
  • English fluency (spoken and written)
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn niche areas of expertise
  • Required Skills :

  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Hands-on problem solving
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in forensic engineering
  • Knowledge of building codes and compliance
  • Pay range and compensation package : Competitive salary based on experience.
