Job Title : Visual Merchandiser

The primary responsibility of the Visual Merchandiser is to fulfill our mission statement, “to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” Visual Merchandising Teammates contribute to profitability by managing the store's visual appearance and shopability according to visual guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure timely installation and removal of window displays and store promotion events, including packing, unpacking, and preparing props, supporting the company's visual standards.
• Collaborate with store leadership to plan store layouts and creative merchandise flow, including product rotation and markdown placement.
• Maintain effective communication with leadership to improve business performance.
• Educate leadership on visual strategies.
• Ensure prompt delivery of new products to the sales floor.
• Assist Guests and Teammates as needed, demonstrating strategic understanding of sales presentation, register, and iPad use.
• Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and special holiday hours as needed.
• Report policy violations and concerns to management confidentially.
• Adhere to Buckle’s Code of Ethics, policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Perform duties with high customer service standards, fostering a positive team environment.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Requires standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing. Occasionally sitting. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Work environment is a retail store setting with moderate noise levels.
