Selectek has partnered with a leading company in Madison, WI, to find a talented and motivated Controls Engineer to join their team. This is a contract-to-direct opportunity with excellent potential for long-term growth.

About the Role :

  • Control System Design : You will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning control systems, including PLC programming (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000), HMI / SCADA development (AVEVA / Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Rockwell RSView / FactoryTalk Ignition), and production network design and configuration.
  • Project Support : You will create and maintain BOMs, generate reports (using SQL Server Reporting and Dream Reports), and support the resolution of engineering challenges.
  • Technical Expertise : You will have a strong understanding of control system architectures, including safety circuits, PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, robotics, and automation networks.

Who You Are :

  • Experienced Professional : You have 3-5 years of experience in controls engineering.
  • Technically Proficient : You are proficient in Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000), HMI / SCADA software (AVEVA / Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Rockwell RSView / FactoryTalk Ignition), and have experience with control panel design.
  • A Strong Communicator : You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-Oriented : You are detail-oriented and results-driven, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

  • Pay Range : $26.44 - $48.07 depending on prior experience
