Hire Up Staffing is currently seeking a Sales Support Specialist on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company located in Fresno, CA . This position plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by preparing accurate quotes, managing work orders, and providing top-tier customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
Job Summary
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for preparing and sending customer quotes / estimates, following up on pending items, coordinating communication between outside sales representatives and shop advisors, managing work orders, and assisting walk-in clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of handling a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
Essential Functions
Accurately type quotes and work orders (minimum 45 WPM)
Proofread documents for spelling, pricing, layout, and other errors
Send quotes via email or fax to customers and dealerships
Track, organize, and maintain records of all work orders and quotes
Communicate with customers and retrieve missing order details
Create and manage tracking spreadsheets as needed
Greet and assist walk-in customers with professionalism
Collaborate effectively with sales and production teams
Continuously build knowledge of the company’s evolving products
Required Competencies
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Personal effectiveness and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
High level of accuracy in data entry (10-key by touch required)
Strong collaboration and team communication skills
Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Work Environment
Office-based role with regular use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, fax machines)
Some physical filing may be required; ability to lift files and move between filing systems
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, sales support, or customer service role
Proven ability to type at least 45 words per minute
Experience with data entry and 10-key by touch
Proficient in basic computer applications and office systems
