We are looking for an intern to support the Finance department for the summer.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

The Intern will be responsible for assisting team members in accounting tasks.

These responsibilities will include but will not be limited to finance-related projects, cost review and analysis, cost forecasting and planning, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications :

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree

Preferred fields of study : accounting, finance, or related field

Strong working relationships and critical thinking skills

Strong analytical skills

Self-motivated with a strong work initiative and attention to detail

Customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to use MS Excel and PowerPoint; database / or reporting software to do analysis a plus

Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline and detailed-oriented work environment

Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently

Demonstrated experience collaborating in a team environment

Passion for learning with a wide degree of creativity and curiosity

Abilities :

Exposure to computer screens for an extended period

Sitting for extended periods of time

Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction

Have finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard

Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand

Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing

Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense

Identify and understand the speech of another person
