We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) to step into the role of Clinical Supervisor I in our PICU unit, leading our dedicated team to excellence in patient care.

What You'll Do : T he Clinical Supervisor is an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who leads staff in delivering safe patient care in accordance with professional standards and the expectations of Valley Presbyterian Hospital. This role functions as a clinical expert, mentor, and resource, fostering customer service excellence. The Clinical Supervisor manages shift schedules, facilitates patient throughput, and optimizes staff workflow to meet pediatric patient care needs. Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills are essential to achieving positive patient outcomes. Charge nurses at VPH promote staff engagement and accountability for the overall forward movement of the unit and the organization to further the hospital's mission of improving the quality of health in the San Fernando Valley.

What We're Looking For :

• Experience :

Two (2) to five (5) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse in an acute care pediatric setting.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. RN staff hired on or after April 2023, with an associate degree in nursing, are required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 30 days of employment and successfully obtain a BSN degree within four years of hire.

Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
