Description :
Responsible for assisting with the many facets of the Technical Services effort including commissioning of lighting control systems, troubleshooting, programming, and communicating within our organization and with our manufacturers to resolve issues. Represent our organization and other manufacturers to provide technical support in a professional manor at all times.
Requirements :
THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING :
- Manage designated projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner
- Maintain clear and accurate communication with all project members
- Manage interaction with job site personnel; PM, EC, End User and / or other designated Stake Holders
- Understand job site conditions and respond accordingly
- Strive to complete tasks in designate time frame
- Update spreadsheets, databases and Work Order Reports
- Maintain a list of everyday job activities and site notes
- Maintain and protect job tools and equipment
- Communicate directly with job site contacts to verify any site-specific needs, such as hard hat, special clothing, etc.
IN ORDER TO BE QUALIFIED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING :
A bachelor’s degree in applied science or 4 years of experience in a field related to Electrical or Electronics technology.Achieve and maintain manufacturer required certificationsAbility to commute within NYC, Long Island, Westchester & Rockland Counties and Northern & Central NJAbility to maintain confidentiality of information to ensure the integrity of the role and the team environmentTHE FOLLOWING SKILL SETS ARE PREFERRED BY THE BUSINESS UNIT :
Experience troubleshooting complex technical problemsFamiliarity with construction industry a plusExcellent Verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and follow-up skillsProficient in Word, MS Excel and Outlook, Dropbox.
