Compensation : $300,000 – $350,000 / year base ($600,000 – $800,000 All-In)

Location : Dallas, TX

Schedule : Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a General Counsel (Alternative Asset Management) in Dallas, TX, for our client. This senior leadership role oversees legal, regulatory, and compliance matters across multiple entities and investment structures. The position advises executives on risk, manages outside counsel, and ensures adherence to U.S. and international regulations. Ideal for an experienced attorney with strong negotiation skills and deep expertise in asset management and investment advisory law.

Responsibilities

• Legal Leadership : Oversee all legal matters including fund formation, entity structuring, contracts, and investor relations.
• Regulatory Compliance : Direct compliance for SEC-registered entities, ensuring adherence to U.S. and Cayman Islands regulations.
• SMA & Documentation Oversight : Lead legal processes for SMAs and negotiate IMAs, LPAs, NDAs, ISDA / PB / CSA, and other key agreements.
• Entity Governance & Risk Management : Maintain legal consistency across complex fund structures while advising leadership on regulatory and operational risk.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with executives and operations teams on due diligence, compliance certifications, and institutional investor engagements.
