Position Summary

Pediatric experience preferred, not required.

This position provides Occupational Therapy services, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, to a pediatric population, from infant through adolescence / young adulthood. Performs treatment in activities of daily living, sensorimotor integration, cognitive, neurodevelopmental, and psychosocial skill, and feeding therapy, specific to age and developmental / functional level determined by assessment of the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Education

  • Associate Degree from a school accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association. (Required)

Experience

  • Pediatric experience. (Preferred)

    • Certifications

  • Current Certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), prior to start date. (Required)
  • Current State of Arizona Occupational Therapist Assistant license, prior to start date. (Required)
  • Current AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card, prior to start date. (Required)
  • Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association, prior to start date. (Required)

    • Special Skills

  • Specialty training in pediatric ortho, neuro, NDT, taping, child development, or other relevant pediatric areas. (Preferred)
