Join a Level II Trauma Center as a Locum Trauma Surgeon with a fast-paced, supportive team. Perfect for experienced trauma surgeons looking for high-impact work with excellent compensation!

🗓 Schedule

15 shifts / month – mix of 12-hour day and night shifts 🌙☀️

In-house trauma call : 7-day blocks of 12-hour nights

Clinic hours and OR time included 🏥

Trauma night backup call shared with team 🤝

Level II Trauma Center 🚨

EMR : Epic 💻

Adult & Geriatric patient population 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

On-site imaging, lab, and pharmacy 🧪

Teaching environment with resident rotations 🎓

Procedures : trauma surgery & outpatient follow-ups

👩‍⚕️ Team Support

7 Trauma Surgeons 💪

12 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) – no supervision required 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

✅ Requirements

Board Certified (truly board-eligible considered)

Fellowship trained in Critical Care 🎓

Active Iowa medical license 🩺

Must handle full-scope trauma (beyond EGS)
