This role is responsible for programming CNC machinery to produce precision components in alignment with customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, a meticulous attention to detail , and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship.
MUST HAVES - PLEASE READ :
Technical Skills :
Proficiency with Mastercam or similar CAM softwareStrong understanding of GD&T principlesExperience in programming for milling, turning, mill / turn, and wire EDM operationsKnowledge of G-code and M-codeBackground in large part machining such as shafts, gear systems, and heavy componentsFamiliarity with manual machining tools : lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, etc.In-place machining experience is a plusForklift and overhead crane operation experience preferredKey Responsibilities :
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create or modify CNC programsProgram and troubleshoot CNC machinery in accordance with operational standards and control systemsCollaborate with machinists during setup and prove-out of NC programsProperly select and secure fixtures, tooling, and materials for machining operationsMonitor machining processes to detect and resolve issues related to quality or toleranceOperate lifting devices and follow safety protocols while moving components or equipmentUtilize gauges and measuring instruments to ensure compliance with dimensional specificationsMaintain cleanliness and perform light maintenance on assigned machinesAccurately document work using ERP systems such as JobBOSS and production travelersFollow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspaceBe available for overtime including evenings and weekends, as neededCoordinate effectively with team members and other departmentsPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications :
