2nd Shift Grinder Operator / Drill Machine Operator

Summary

The Grinder Operator / Drill Machine Operator role at Voith involves setting up, operating, and maintaining large roll grinding machines or various types of rolls. PAY IS $-$ PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION; 2nd shift hours are 3 : pm- : pm M-F

Training hours will be 7am-3 : pm

Responsibilities :

• Set up, operate, and maintain large roll grinder used to grind paper machine rolls
• Set up, operate and maintain multi-spindle gang drill.
• Identify and verify drill patterns
• Familiar with CNC machine operations
• Should have experience in lifting and moving heavy loads with an overhead crane.
• Should have experience in setups used in grinding practices on large equipment.
• Be willing to work overtime when required.
