Senior Field Engineer
Position Overview
The Senior Field Engineer will Provide inspection of municipal water and wastewater facilities, including wastewater treatment plants , lift stations, pump stations, and potable water tanks. Must be familiar with TCEQ Chapter 290 and 217 Rules. The position will also coordinate construction inspection services for multiple projects to help ensure services are provided for all active construction projects across up to 30 clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of wastewater and water projects to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and TCEQ regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to facilitate project execution and address any field issues that arise.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and provide recommendations for project improvements or corrective actions.
- Supervise and mentor junior field engineers and technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the design and implementation of wastewater treatment plant projects and pump station improvements.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required. Commensurate experience in lieu of degree will be considered.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Engineer, with a focus on wastewater and water projects.Proven experience with pump stations and water treatment facilities, including design and inspection.Strong knowledge of TCEQ regulations, including Chapters 217 and 290.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Benefits
