Overview

We’re seeking a Public Relations Specialist to support global PR initiatives for Sunglass Hut. The position is a 1‑month contract with potential extension through 2026.

Responsibilities

Support the Senior Public Relations Manager in executing day‑to‑day PR activities and creative campaigns.

Liaise with external agencies to fulfill editorial requests and ensure smooth operations.

Assist with PR asset development (talking points, media alerts, trend pitches, etc.).

Maintain media lists, prepare PR recaps, and conduct ongoing influencer research.

Coordinate event logistics such as media invites, product displays, and guest lists.

Manage product fulfillment for gifting and sample requests.

Handle operational communications with stores and vendors, including image and campaign asset distribution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Advertising, or Journalism (preferred).

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.

Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Strong project management and follow‑up skills.

Proven ability to work independently and manage time‑sensitive tasks with minimal supervision.

Flexibility for occasional travel based on brand events and needs.

Schedule : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (Hybrid, 2‑3x per week onsite)

Employment Type : 1‑month contract (potential to extend through 2026)

Pay Rate : $27 / hour
