Position Title : Shipping - Forklift Operator

Pay Rate : $24.57 / Hr. + Shift Differential

Sign on Bonus : $500 after 90 Days, $500 after 6 Months, $500 after 1 Year and an additional bonus at 2 Years

Category / Shift : Hourly Full-Time / 3rd Shift - The plant operates 24 / 5. Must be open to working both 2nd and / or 3rd Shift. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods.

The Job You Will Perform :

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the items in the appropriate / designated areas.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product loaded and shipped.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, pull packs or other power equipment.
• Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following indicated work methods.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and security maintained. Assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the shipping dock as well as the plant.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Always comply with all IPS Safety policies and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned by managers and or supervisors / shift leader.
• Be accountable for all your personal load tallies.
