Job Title : Local Contract - Registered Nurse - Med / Surg N umber of positions : 1 Years of experience : One to three years Shift : Night shifts- 36 hours Duration : 13 weeks Start Date : 01 / 30 / 2024 Hourly pay : $41.39 OT : 1.5 Weekly Pay : $1,490.04 JOB DESCRIPTION Summary Department : Nurse Staffing Shift Timings : 19 : 00-07 : 30 Hours Monday to friday (3 Days / 12 Hours Shift) Per Week : 36 Hours Roles & Responsibilities Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Minimum Qualifications EOW; EOH 2 years PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience required May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed QUALIFICATIONS BLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Med / Surg experience. Graduate from a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license One year of Cerner experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS / ABILITIES / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED : Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
