Job Title : System Software Programmer – Project Lead

Location : Columbia, SC

Duration : 12+ Month Contract

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in independently designing and implementing medium to large-scale software systems using Microsoft .NET architecture .
• At least 5 years of experience in developing and deploying web-based software systems , leveraging N-tier architectures, dynamic content, scalable solutions, and complex security models.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and proficiency with at least two of the following : application servers, database servers, messaging systems, or web servers.
• Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing multiple software components and subsystems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate software designs, implementation decisions, and their corresponding strengths and weaknesses.
• Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with technical and non-technical stakeholders , including clients and internal teams.
• Comfortable collaborating with Department of Social Services (DSS) and other State IT staff as needed.
