Environmental Compliance Engineer

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications :
- Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance
- Good knowledge of environmental legal requirements and best practices in the field, at a federal and state level (MA)
- Previous experience interfacing with regulatory agencies.
- Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
- Previous experience conducting effective and engaging training.
- Ability to be flexible in their work hours to ensure coverage for the 24 / 7 operations at the site. Some but minimal travel required.
- Excellent computer and verbal / written communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal environmental regulations and internal standards.Prepare and manage environmental permits and programs (e.g., air, water, waste) in compliance with state and federal regulations.Develop and submit required environmental reports (e.g., Tier II, TRI, NPDES, RCRA).Collaborate with internal teams to integrate environmental standards into operational and engineering processes.Perform site assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps and opportunities for improvement.Lead initiatives aimed at meeting corporate sustainability goals.Liaise with environmental agencies including MassDEP and EPA and represent the company during inspections and regulatory communications.Track environmental KPIs and prepare metrics-driven performance reports.Provide training and guidance on environmental practices and sustainability policies.Assist with the maintenance of the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management system to exceed regulatory, corporate and industry requirements (ISO14001 / ISO45001 / RBA).Be a key partner in a positive, proactive, and integrated EHS culture.Analog Devices is an equal opportunity employer. The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $66,112 to $90,904. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
