Paralegal

Kaufman Dolowich, recognized by U.S. News in their list of "Best Companies to Work For - Law Firms," is seeking a Paralegal with 3+ years of litigation experience. Our San Francisco team is comprised of highly skilled and motivated individuals, who are seeking a dynamic self-starter to join our growing team!

Job Responsibilities :

• Works with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions, and other case filings
• Utilizes existing files and a variety of other research resources to develop information for pending cases
• Drafts discovery demands and responses, including, but not limited to, Requests for Production, Interrogatories, Notices for Discovery and Inspection and Requests for Admissions
• Prepares trial and arbitration hearing binders, as well as processing deposition transcripts
• Prepares first set of exhibits for motions, discovery responses, timelines, exhibits, etc
• Reviews outgoing document production, including redacting and Bates stamping
• Creates Preservation of Evidence Letter and Document Request Letters
• Performs legal research
• Processes HIPAA authorizations and follow up with providers for medical records
• Reviews, summarize and analyze medical records to assist with defense of action
• Other duties, as needed, to support the firm and office operations

Base Salary Range : $60,000 - $95,000
