Overview

The DME Tech III is responsible for medical equipment and supply accountability installation training maintenance recalls and sustainability. The DME Tech III assists the DME Coordinator with supply support activities. This person performs delivery of DME supplies and equipment to both new and existing patients as needed. The DME Tech III maintains a good working knowledge of all supplies and equipment provided by Childrens Mercy Home Care. This person will interface directly with patients and families when delivering items and is expected to always provide superior customer service serving as the direct contact between Childrens Mercy Home Care and patient families. This person will also assist users with afterhours issues including troubleshooting non-functioning equipment and exchanging equipment when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Equipment Accountability
• Assists other Home Care representatives DME Techs and DME coordinators in maintenance of DME supplies inventory and warehouse
• Delivers DME supplies equipment and pharmacy items to patients in their homes or other locations as designated.
• Manage on-call situations with equipment and supplies
• Delivers and picks-up equipment throughout the CMH facility
• Attends educational programs new equipment / procedure training and department meetings

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $19.81 / hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work / Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
