Engineering Director

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead a core engineering group and drive technical direction. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor multiple teams of engineers, ensuring delivery on business priorities Provide technical direction and drive architecture decisions, particularly with Kubernetes (EKS) Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the engineering roadmap and instill best practices Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in an engineering management or director role, managing teams of 5 or more engineers Recent hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript Familiarity with React and TypeScript for supporting frontend work Practical experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, and EKS Experience in leading large-scale refactoring efforts and balancing improvement with velocity
