The successful applicant will join an energetic and collegial group of ten (10) child psychologists, twelve (12) child psychiatrists, and many allied health clinicians within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. Clinical activities include consultation with a variety of medical subspecialties and evaluation and treatment of patients with complex, acute, and chronic medical conditions or medically unexplained symptoms being treated within Mayo Clinic Children’s. Care is provided in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Further, the successful applicant would have opportunities for program development, research, and provision of supervision and mentoring for post-doctoral fellows within the two-year APA-accredited Clinical Child / Pediatric Psychology Fellowship Program. There are also opportunities to engage in education activities for medical fellows, residents, students, and trainees. The position carries an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, rank commensurate with experience.
