Senior Property Accountant

G&A Partners client is currently seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join its team in Dallas TX.

Summary

The Sr. Property Accountant will be responsible for the GAAP or tax-based accounting for retail and mixed-use real estate partnerships owned or real estate assets managed. These responsibilities include the preparation of monthly financial statements and related reports reconciliation of balances between the property management system and the general ledger review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and assisting management with other special projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain supporting schedules to the financial statements
• Prepare and record monthly accrual amortization and depreciation entries
• Prepare financial reporting packages including balance sheets statements of operations and equity rollforwards tied to supporting schedules
• Review invoices for proper coding
• Prepare external reporting packages to lenders and partners
• Review aged receivables and work with property managers to ensure reporting accuracy
• Review and correct monthly general ledger detail to maintain accuracy
• Review accounts receivables and bill for reimbursement
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash reconciliations
• Special projects

Privacy Policy

salary is $90000 / yr. up to $95000 / yr.

The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&As total compensation package for employees.
