Entry-Level Collections Manager

A premier law firm is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Collections Manager to join our Finance Department. This role offers hands-on experience in collections while working directly with the Director of Billing Operations , Attorneys , and Executive Director . You will play a key role in managing and collecting accounts receivable and supporting arbitration-related matters, with an emphasis on professionalism, communication, and follow-through.
What Youll Do :
- Monitor and manage assigned accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
- Communicate with clients by phone, email, and letter to follow up on payments and resolve billing issues
- Collaborate with attorneys to assist in the preparation of arbitration-related documentation
- Track account statuses and escalate delinquent accounts as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment activity
- Prepare collection status reports for management
- Work closely with the Director of Billing Operations and other members of the billing team to streamline collection efforts
