Part-time Job Announcement

Position : Part-time Instructional Aide (Evenings)

Location : Athens

Department : Adult Education

Reports to : Executive Director of Adult Education & Walton Campus

Salary / Benefits : Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Deadline to Apply :  September 2, 2025 at 4 : 00 p.m.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform general administrative duties including : typing, filing, and record maintenance.
  • Greet students and answer telephones.
  • Provide information regarding the Adult Education programs.
  • Assist in ordering and organizing instructional materials and supplies.
  • Maintain student attendance records; prepare and submit monthly reports of student attendance. and enrollment to the college and the state adult education office.
  • Exercise confidentiality in handling all matters.
  • Organize and oversee intake and assessment of adult education students.
  • Provide academic assistance and assist with orientations.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications : High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications : High school diploma or GED

  • One (1) year of experience as an instructional aid or paraprofessional.
