Program Therapist

Farrington Specialty Centers is dedicated to treating eating disorders, compulsive exercise, and body image issues, as well as co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. Our services include comprehensive assessments, outpatient therapy, group therapy, an Intensive Outpatient Program, and a Partial Hospitalization Program. We address all types of eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and related concerns.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Wayne, IN, for a Program Therapist. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group therapy sessions for clients with eating disorders or related conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in staff meetings and case consultations to ensure comprehensive care and progress tracking. The Program Therapist will also provide support to clients' families by offering education and resources as part of the recovery process.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in individual and group therapy methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
• Strong skills in treatment planning, client assessments, and clinical documentation
• Ability to address issues related to eating disorders, trauma, and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
• Licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
• Experience working with eating disorders or related mental health concerns is preferred
• Cultural competence and understanding of diverse populations
