Medical Assistant
Pay range : $23.09 / hr - $32.09 / hr plus 5% MA certification differential if applicable
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with specific patient procedures relevant to each clinic and ensuring the delivery of quality care to patients in accordance with individual needs, physician orders and standards of care, as represented through patient care policies. Must be able and willing to handle all front and back-office tasks within the clinic according to established procedures and protocols, as to provide a seamless experience for the patient.

Education : Required
High school graduate or GED.
Completion of a MA / EMT program or 1 year of experience required.

Experience : Required
One (1) year experience working in an ambulatory clinic performing or assisting with provider ordered procedures unique to each clinic.
Completion of a MA / EMT program or 1 year of experience required.
Preferred
Experience using EMR.
Licenses, Certifications and / or Registrations :
Required
Current Healthcare provider BLS certification or within 90 days of hire.
Preferred
MA or EMT certification preferred
