Physician Assistant - Pulmonary, Sleep & Critical Care

Well-respected and growing Pulmonary & Critical Care group seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join the OUTPATIENT team. The incoming individual will enjoy an established patient base and have the opportunity to help guide the future direction of the practice. The PA will perform a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation. Responsibilities Include :

• Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order, perform, and interpret laboratory, diagnostic, and other tests.
• Initiate, document, and communicate the plan of care to patients.
• Monitor therapies and provide continuity of care.
• Confer with supervising physicians and medical staff to ensure optimum quality patient care.
• Participate in chart reviews, staff education, and other continuing education.
• Performs related duties, as required.
