Our client, a highly-sophisticated, mid-sized firm located on Long Island is seeking a senior level Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their team. As a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney, you will represent the firm in complex commercial litigation matters, demonstrating exceptional legal acumen, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to client service.

This position does not require a book of business, but will be considered as a plus!

Job Details

Responsibilities :

• Manage all aspects of commercial litigation including research, drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlement, and trial preparation.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of commercial legal issues.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies that align with business objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the company, advising on potential impacts and compliance strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage risks and mitigate potential legal liabilities.
• Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.
