JOB OVERVIEW

SWDS : Acrisure Protection Group KARR Security is looking for a highly motivated Mobile Technician to join our Illinois Division.

This position as a Mobile Technician includes traveling to dealer client and end user locations to perform car alarm and car GPS system installations troubleshooting repairs or security systems demonstrations.

This is an hourly nonexempt position reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

Listed responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Install Automotive alarmsand GPS systems
  • Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs
  • Provide customer service to our dealership clients and their customers
  • Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
  • Ensure adherence to mobile route in a timely and efficient manner

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a valid Drivers License and at least 1 year of licensed driving history
  • No Prior Experience Required- Be a fast learner & have a willingness to learn
  • Demonstrateflexibility and attention to detail
  • Work well in a team along with being motivated to work independently
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Have Manual dexterity and comfortable with hand power tools
  • 12-Volt experience OR e xperience with automotive alarm and GPS systemsa plus

    • WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Regular travel within the city and surrounding cities in the service area
  • Full-Time ScheduleMonday Friday from8 AM to 5 PM
