Technician 2nd Shift

Location : Syracuse NY 13206

Schedule : 2nd Shift 2 : 30 PM 11 : 00 PM EST

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support industrial electrical and mechanical operations at a well-established manufacturing facility. This role is hands-on and requires strong troubleshooting skills familiarity with PLCs and the ability to keep production equipment running at peak performance.

What Youll Do :

  • Diagnose repair and replace defective mechanical and electrical components.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment adjustments to meet production standards.
  • Work with PLC logic ladder logic schematics and industrial motor controls.
  • Conduct electrical testing and troubleshoot printed circuit assembly boards.
  • Read and interpret complex diagrams blueprints manuals and testing procedures.
  • Support CNC and machining equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and report issues to supervision.

What Were Looking For :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Journeyman-level skill or 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance (electrical / mechanical).
  • Strong experience with ladder logic schematics and motor controls.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills with both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse NY.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • CNC maintenance or machining equipment background.
  • Hydraulics experience.
  • Two-year degree in electronics (or equivalent military electronics background).
