Location : Louisville KY USA Contract Details : Full-time Permanent Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Tech to join our team at Progeny HR Solutions this role you will be responsible for assisting physicians with interventional procedures including preparing and maintaining equipment monitoring patients and providing post-procedure care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional procedures and possess excellent technical skills. Key Responsibilities : - Assist physicians during interventional procedures including preparing equipment positioning patients and monitoring vital signs - Maintain a sterile environment in the procedure room and adhere to all infection control protocols - Operate and maintain interventional equipment troubleshoot any issues and report malfunctions to the appropriate personnel - Administer medications and contrast agents as directed by the physician - Provide post-procedure care to patients including monitoring for any complications and providing patient education - Document all procedures and patient information accurately and in a timely manner - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all regulatory standards - Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and order new supplies as needed - Stay current with advances in interventional technology and techniques through ongoing education and training Qualifications : - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field preferred - Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Tech in a hospital or clinical setting - Strong technical skills and knowledge of interventional equipment and procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company match and paid time off.
