Position Summary and Purpose : The Quality Assurance Manager develops, implements, and periodically evaluates a program to ensure the organization’s production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the organization. This position will report to the Director of Regulatory & Quality Assurance

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, as well as talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Must be able to regularly use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and climb stairs. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull office and lab products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
Working conditions
The position works in an office, lab, and warehouse setting and has prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and standard lab equipment such as printers, allergen testing kits, pipettes, scales, and meters. The noise level in the work environment may often be loud.
Travel
Travel to local worksites during the business day may be required
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm
